Worldwide Group Meditation in a Spiral Formation
The yang-spiral meditations are a world-premiere initiative of the Romanian School of Yoga MISA. This initiative is a very effective method that is consistent with the worldwide efforts of raising the consciousness of Planet Earth and helping humankind enter into a superior stage of evolution. This group meditation helps participants experience the state of Cosmic Consciousness, giving them access to the universal dimension of their spirit.
In the Oriental philosophy and also in the modern scientific paradigm, the manifestation of the Universe always contains a double aspect: light and darkness, sky and earth, positive (+) and negative (-), solar (of the Sun) and lunar (of the Moon). In the Eastern thinking, the solar, positive, male aspect is called Yang, and the lunar, negative, female aspect is called Yin. These two concepts are in fact the expression of the Universal complementarity and dualism. The clearest example of this duality is the electric current: in order to have electricity we need a positive pole and a negative pole. Only together they can produce electrical power. None of them is better or worse than the other. The same thing stands true for the yin-yang concept. Yin and yang cannot be separate: their mysterious rhythm is the force that creates the very life of the entire Universe.
The spiral is often seen in nature: the snail shell is a well-known example. The symbolism of the spiral is scientifically funded by the mathematical theory of the logarithmic spiral and of the Golden Number, or Fibonacci series. This Golden Number was discovered by the Italian mathematician Leonardo Fibonacci (c. 1170 – c. 1240), also called Leonardo of Pisa. Fibonacci numbers have many interesting properties and are widely used in mathematics. Natural patterns, such as the spiral growth of leaves on some trees, often exhibit the Fibonacci series. A consequence of this are the fractal structures and the discovery of fractal geometry.
A Unique Planetary Experience of the Tremendous Beneficent Power of the Unison
We will experience together on the 21st of December the intense healing and deep transformational effects of this unique moment in our history in a group meditation done in a counterclockwise (YANG) spiral formation that we will organize in Concordia, Natha Yogacenter. Similar spirals are organized worldwide in all our schools in perfect state of unison.
Such spiral awakens the qualities of all astrological signs and balances our feminine and masculine sides. The unison of the entire group induces each participant with amazing power.
We will meditate for the well-being of our city, country, planet and people and be in unison with thousands of groups that meditate world-wide this day using the exact same spiral-formation that fosters centering, spiritual awakening and raising vibration!
2:45pm – 3.15pm Welcoming of the participants and explaining the formation and the effects of a Yang Spiral Meditation in connection with the necessity of ascending to a new level of vibration on this historical moment.
3:15pm – 4pm Arranging of the participants in a spiral formation according to gender and astrological birth sign.
4:00pm – 5:45pm The meditation itself (all participants hold hands, special music will be used to induce the raising of energies to spiritual levels)
6:00pm-7:00 pm Collective Prayer to God the Father
At 7 pm we will listen together to a new conference that will be sent for this occasion by Grieg. This special conference will be transmitted live online here.
Some of the Effects of the Yang Spiral Meditation
In this meditation the participants (paired up man-woman) are holding hands and are arranged according to the succession of the 12 astrological signs of the zodiac. As a result of this arrangement, complex phenomena of resonance take place both with the beneficent influx of the yang energy and with the beneficial aspects of each of the 12 zodiac signs and of the subtle influx of their respective ruling planets. As a result, the subtle aura of each participant is charged with beneficial energy that balances and helps healing at a very deep level, accelerating in the same time the spiritual evolution of consciousness.
Directly proportional with the size (area) of the spiral and the number of participants, each person can thus have the direct experience of an intense state of bliss. Each person represents then a miniature replica of the Perfected Cosmic Human Being. During this yang-spiral, each participant (no matter his or her astrological sign) can experience the beneficial aspects of all the 12 zodiacal signs.
I look forward to meet this moment with love and light, together with lots of wonderful people and other beneficent beings in the whole world who embrace and choose the good in their lives, for our beloved planet Earth and the whole universe.

T Square – Planetary configuration consisting of one opposition and two quadratures. The planet that makes these quadratures with the two planets in opposition is called „center-planet”, being the strongest planet of the respective chart.
Falling – A situation when a planet is in the opposite Sign to the one where it is exalted (see also Exaltation).
Planetary configurations – The relations between at least three planets covering the entire circle of the zodiac, involving at least three Signs of the zodiac (or three astrological Houses) and forming a well defined geometric pattern.
Conjunction – Two or more planets which occupies the same degree or the same Sign or the same astrological House.
Quadrature – Two or more planets with a 90 degrees distance between them, in an orb of ± 8 degrees. .
Diurnal home – The zodiac Sign of a positive polarity, masculine, YANG, where the governing planet and, in general, any planet transiting it manifests solar, dynamically, emissive.
Nocturnal home – The zodiac Sign of a negative polarity, feminine, YIN, where the governing planet and, in general, any planet transiting it manifests lunar, receptively, contemplative.
Exaltation – A situation in which a planet is in a zodiac Sign where it subtle influence is strengthen (amplified) by the predominant energy of the respective Sign. E.g.: the Sun is exalted in the Sign of Aries, Moon is exalted in the Sign of Taurus, Venus is exalted in the sign of Pisces etc.
Opposition – Two or more planets with a 180 degrees distance between them, in an orb of ± 8 degrees.
Orb – Tolerance of degrees (plus or minus) to the peak of an aspect made by two or more planets which are in a direct relation.
Mutual reception – A situation when two planets are, each one of them, in the Sign (or domicile) of the other.
Septile – Two or more planets with a distance of 51°42’ (more precisely 360°/7) between them, in an orb of ± 1 degree. It usually announces an event which may have been diminished in intensity by means of certain actions and spiritual integrations, but it is extremely difficult to be avoided.
Sextile – Two or more planets with a 60 degrees distance between them, in an orb of ± 4 degrees.
Trigon – Two or more planets with a 120 degrees distance between them, in an orb of ± 8 degrees.
Alcor – Fixed star with a magnitude of 4, from the Ursa Major constellation (15º52’ Virgo). It is not a remarkable star, but it was used by the Arabs of the desert as a test of a good sight, because they use to look towards Canopus as the highest star and towards Alcor as the lowest star on the visual scale. It is called by Al Biruni „the pious woman” and recalls the German story of the poor Hans Dumkin which, despite his poverty, he offered shelter to Jesus. Because he wanted all his life to travel, Jesus rewarded Hans Dumkin – as the story tells – giving him the Alcor star to carry him through the world, allowing him to remain forever a clairvoyant. Thus, Alcor seems to be connected to the nature of the relation between Jupiter and Venus, conferring a compasive, quiet, prudent, controlled, patient nature.
Asterion – Fixed star with a magnitude of 4,3, from the Beta Canes Venatici constellation (17º42’ Virgo) having the nature of the relation between Saturn and Venus. Its influx confers a sharp mind, pleasure of hunting, stable relations, intelligence.
Biham – Fixed star with a 3,7 magnitude, from the Theta Pegasus constellation (06º50’ Pisces), having the nature of the relation between Mars and Mercury. Its name it’s of Arabic origins and means „the youngest from the domestic animals”. It is said to be a lucky star. Its influence should be considered in the general assembly of the constellation.
Deneb Kaitos – Fixed star with a 2,2 magnitude, from the Beta Cetus constellation (2º35’ Aries), having the nature of the relation between Saturn, Mars and Mercury. Its name means „the whale tail pointing South”. It is told that it causes mental disorders, self-destruction through rough force, illness, disfavours, transformation that can’t be postponed anymore, psychological and physical inhibitions and limitations. In relation with Jupiter, it gives high ecclesiastical positions, but it also prones to hazards from the betrayal of hidden enemies.
El Koprach – Fixed star with a 3,8 magnitude, from the Chi Ursa Major constellation (03º40’ Virgo) having the nature of planet Mars. It is told to predispose to a quiet, prudent, controlled nature but also to suspicion, distrust, anger. Symbolically called „The Holy Grail” or the „Chalice of Jesus”, it confers idealism, psychic power, intelligence, honour and wealth, but rather these are seen as forms of spiritual elevation when the being passes by certain KARMA-ic purifications which prepares it for the spiritual liberation.
Facies - Fix star of 5.9 magnitude from MM2 Sagittarius (8º 18’ C), of the type of the relation Mars-Sun.
Denomination of Latin origin, derived from the verb „to make”. It has a bad reputation among astrologists because, when active in a theme, it predisposes to blinding, accidents and violent death. In its psychological aspect, the star indicates human beings who must materialize their beliefs and points of view through personal effort. They can encounter many failures, but they can get slightly hurt but, in the end, they will feel gratified by the value of their own actions, beliefs, aspirations.
Gienah (from Cygnus) - Fix star of 2.6 magnitude from Epsilon Cygnus (27º 45’ Aquarius), of the nature of the planets Venus -Mercury. It has this name (Giena from the Swan constellation) so that it can be distinguished from the Gienah in the Raven Constellation. It is said that it confers a contemplative nature, dreamily, cultivated and adaptable, attracted to water and nautical sports. At the same time, it predisposes to a certain emotional instability that causes the native’s talents to grow a little more difficult.
Kerb - Fix star of 4.6 magnitude from the Pegas Tharn (01º 03’ Aries), of the nature of the relation Mars-Mercury. Although it is part of a very important constellation in the meteorological changes, sometimes it is said that when it manifests its influence, the couples of lovers where love is not strong enough separate.
Kochab - Fix star of 2.1 magnitude from Beta Ursa Minor (13º 19’ Lion) of Saturn nature, one of the shiniest in the constellation. Its name means „the star” and it is said that it is the symbol of stability (constancy). It seems that, in the millennium that preceded our era, Kochab had the role of polar star.
Kraz - Fix star, of 2.8 magnitude, from Beta Corvus, (17º 22’ Libra) of the nature of the relation between Mars-Saturn. Its influence seems to be a contradictory one (and because of that very complex), because, (according to the way in which it is reflected by our inner nature) confers patience, passion, the capacity to awaken consciousness but also selfishness, revenge, falsehood, aggressiveness.
Mufrid- Fix star of 2.8 magnitude, from Eta Bootes (19º 20’ Libra) of the nature of the relation between Mercury -Saturn. The denomination of Arab origin means „the lonely star of the lancer”, as in the old times it was believed to be outside the constellation. The Babylonians used to call it , together with Arcturus, „the keeper of the celestial herds” or the „herdsman of the life in Heaven”, both forming one of the pairs of astronomical stars which were said to have the celestial function of watching over the rotation movement of Heaven (of the Skies) so that it never stops. It has a beneficent and long-lasting influence, sustaining heavy efforts, collective actions, deep transformations, total change of societies.
Nodus I, Nodus II - Fix stars of 3 magnitude from Zeta Draco (3º 23’ Libra) of the nature of the relation between Saturn-Mars. The Arabians called them „the she-wolves” or „the two hyenas” waiting for the camel calf (the latter being represented by the small star Al Ruba, which is „protected” by the „mother-camels” represented by the big stars Alwaid, Etamin, Kuma and Grumium). Their influence must be considered in the general assemble of the constellation.
Polis - Triple fix star, variable on a magnitude 3 from Mu Sagittarius (3º 13’ Capricorn) of the nature of the relation Jupiter-Mars. The Egyptian astrology calls it „the colt”. It was part of the asterism known as „the return of the ostriches” or „the bird of the dessert’’ that crossed the Milky Way. Polis confers ambition, martial abilities, the art of riding, kinetic perceptions, makes the native worth the trust of the others. It can be often found in the native theme of the officials from the spiritual world or of those of certain famous theologians. Well-aspected but not in conjunction with the Sun, or placed anywhere except for the 10th house, Polis indicates a person whose interest and knowledge in the spiritual field can be both impressive and very profound.
Sadalabchia - Fix star of 4 magnitude from the Gamma Aquarius (6º 43’ Pisces), of the nature of the relation between Venus-Mercury. Its name (of Arabian origin) means „the lucky star of the tents” because immediately after it rose, in spring, the tents of the nomads were raised again on the green fields. The other signification, „the lucky star of secret things”, comes from the fact that, together with its uprise, everything that before was hidden or difficult to find, now became visible, especially the lizards and dangerous animals from the desert. Its influence manifests, in the hourly astrology, as a capacity to discover all that is hidden. Thus, it indicates the bet time for modifications that can be paved with success, if it is well-placed and well aspected in the theme.
Seginus (Haris) - Fix star of magnitude 3 from Gamma Bootis (17º40’ Libra), of the nature of the relation Mercury - Saturn. Its name comes from the Greek theguius, „ploughman”, and its Arabian name, Haris, signifies „the guard” or „that who protects”, and it indicates the early asterism, the „she wolves” or „the hyenas” when the Arabs have not adopted yet the Greek system of constellations. Some astrologists say that the influence of this star can be perceived either as mental refinement or losing certain values of various nature because of friends. Others affirm that it confers a special gift for writing and eloquence.
Sualocin - Fix star of 3.9 magnitude, from Alpha Delphinus (17º23’ Aquarius), of the nature of the relation Mercury - Jupiter. It confers a pleasant appearance, the pleasure of hunting and of practicing sports, aptitude for ecclesiastic life and for voyages, but also predisposal to suffering caused by the state of ingratitude.
Zaniah - Fix star of magnitude 4 from Eta Virgo (4º 31’ Libra), of the nature of the relation Mercury-Venus. It a star with a very interesting significance and celestial „function”: it marks precisely the line of the celestial Equator. Its Arabian name means „the angle”. The Chinese used to call it “Tso Chih Fa”, „the one who preserves the Law with her left hand”. In the ancient Sumerian culture, Zaniah, together with another fix star, Zavijava, symbolized Nynsar, „Goddess of Herbs”. It is said that this star awakens and amplifies refinement, honor, order, elevated affection, the capacity of moderating effectively and even that of solving in a wise and just litigations and of bringing peace between people. Its association, in an astral theme, with a planet, seems to amplify its influence, „lowering” it (modulating it) with the nature of the respective planet.

The yang-spiral meditations are a world-premiere initiative of the Romanian School of Yoga, MISA. This initiative is consistent with the worldwide efforts of raising the consciousness of the planet and of entering into a superior stage of evolution of humankind.
This group meditation organized by MISA-Romania, NATHA-Copenhagen and other MISA branches around the world, aims at the awakening of individuals and groups who participate in these meditations, for bringing into awareness the presence of Cosmic Consciousness. With this experience, every individual can have access to the universal dimension that potentiality exists in every soul.
The yin-yang concept
In Oriental philosophy, and also in the modern scientific paradigm, the manifestation of the Universe always contains a double aspect: light and darkness, sky and earth, positive (+) and negative (-), solar (of the Sun) and lunar (of the Moon). In the Eastern thought, the solar, positive, male aspect is called yang, and the lunar, negative, female aspect is called yin. These two concepts are in fact the expression of the Universal complementarities and dualism. The clearest example of this duality is the electric current: we all know that in order to have electricity we need a positive pole and a negative pole. Only together can they produce electrical power. None of them is better or worse than the other. The same thing stands true for the yin-yang concept. Yin and yang cannot be separate: their mysterious rhythm, their subtle alternation makes up the very life of the Universe.
Oriental thought has an extremely simple yet very profound symbol that describes this universal alternation of yin and yang. This symbol is the well known tÂ’ai-ki.
In extremely simple words and from a very general point of view, the main meanings of this symbol are the following:
(1) Everything that exists in the Universe is polarized, i.e., formed of yang-solar (+) and yin-lunar (-).
(2) The presence of these complementarily opposed counterparts creates a tension. From this tension, Life is born. For maintaining the tension (therefore, life), one of the poles must predominate. This predominance leads to movement, change, transformation.
(3) The two poles of the manifestation are contained in a tremendously big circle that keeps them together (in the above drawing, the exterior circle should be extremely big, but considerations of space makes this unpractical in this material). This symbolizes the existence of a Transcendental Principle that controls and dominates from a higher level. Only in this way Creation is possible. If the Transcendent Principle didn’t compel the two poles to stay together, they would return to Unity, Invisibility, Non-manifestation.
(4) Each polarity contains, in seed, its opposite, which means that everything is relative. Everything, in some deep, mysterious way, is his opposite. Every moment of life includes, somehow, qualities diametrically opposed to those apparently implied. The truth of the original androgyny (having male and female characteristics in one) of the human being is well known. By virtue of this, the balance between male (+) and female (-) hormones, condition sine-qua-non of life, is possible in all humans irrespective of sex. Man is predominantly Solar; his seed (the semen) is Lunar (-). Woman is predominantly Lunar (-); her seed (the ova) is Solar (+).
Thus, tÂ’ai-ki is a perfect symbolic synthesis of Universe and Man, defining in a masterly manner the essence of Yoga Science. The representation of the two poles, the Solar (+) and the Lunar (-), as being equal is an idealistic point of view.
A perfect balance leads to absence of tension, hence non-manifestation. In the manifested worlds, there always is and must be a predominant pole. The state of power appears when the two poles are very close to a perfect balance. A strong lack of balance between them results in weakness, suffering, illness, lack of self-control and lack of power.
Another important aspect is that yang is centripetal (it proceeds toward a center or axis) and moves in energy vortexes that turn counterclockwise, while yin is centrifugal (it proceeds away from a center or axis) and moves in energy vortexes that turn clockwise. Yang is the principle of order, structure, and decrease of entropy. Yin is the principle of chaos, lack of structure, increase of entropy.
The spiral is charged with multiple symbolic meanings. Many of these meanings include the dynamic interaction between yin and yang.
The yang-spiral expresses the luminous, solar, dynamic and optimistic energy. When moving along the arm of this spiral in a counterclockwise sense, it is just natural to reach the center, which represents the Source of Creation from which everything that exists started and to which it will return. The yang-spiral thus represents the circular centripetal movement of returning to the Center.
The yang-spiral is related to the movement of spiritual evolution leading to liberation from the cycle of reincarnations, while the yin-spiral is related to the movement of involution and enchainment to the wheel of reincarnation, since it gets further away from the Center.
The spiral is often seen in nature: the snail shell is a well known example. The symbolism of the spiral is scientifically funded by the mathematical theory of the logarithmic spiral and of the Golden Number, or Fibonacci series. This Golden Number was discovered by the Italian mathematician Leonardo Fibonacci (c. 1170 - c. 1240), also called Leonardo of Pisa.
Fibonacci numbers have many interesting properties and are widely used in mathematics. Natural patterns, such as the spiral growth of leaves on some trees, often exhibit the Fibonacci series. A corollary of this is the well-known fractal structures and the discovery of fractal geometry.
In this meditation, the participants (paired up man-woman) are holding hands and are arranged according to the succession of the 12 astrological signs of the zodiac. As a result of this arrangement, complex phenomena of resonance take place both with the beneficial flow of the yang energy and with the beneficial aspects of each of the 12 zodiac signs and of the subtle flow of their respective ruling planets. As a result, the subtle aura of each participant is charged with beneficial energy that balances and heals at a very deep level, accelerating in the same time the spiritual evolution of consciousness. Directly proportional with the size (area) of the spiral and the number of participants, each person can thus have the direct experience of an intense state of bliss. Each person represents then a miniature replica of the Perfect Cosmic Human Being. During this yang-spiral, each participant (regardless of his or her astrological sign) can experience the beneficial aspects of all the 12 zodiacal signs.
From a general point of view, the archetypal influence that comes during a yang-spiral through each of the astrological signs is the following:
Aries channels the primordial impulse and endless enthusiasm;
Taurus channels the sustained creative effort;
Gemini channels the mysterious polarity of creation;
Cancer channels the state of passivity and attachment;
Leo channels the energy of life and love in its most expansive form;
Virgo channels the power of discernment and intuition;
Libra channels the power of sociability and the just middle way (through which contraries are harmonized);
Scorpio channels the mysteries of disintegration of matter and profound spiritual transformation;
Sagittarius channels the duality between instincts and superior spiritual aspirations and the finding of the way to the source of creation;
Capricorn channels the process of transcendence;
Aquarius channels the superior spiritual states of consciousness;
Pisces channels the power to explore the inner world and to reach the state of spiritual liberation;
In the same time, through the Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn persons, the participants in a yang-spiral can experience the subtle energies of the earth element.
Moreover, Scorpio people resonate also with Pluto, which gives spiritual renewal, magical powers, ability to transcend the personality, crystal-clear lucidity. Through the Taurus and Libra people that participate in a yang-spiral, all other participants can experience by resonance the beneficial subtle influence of Venus, which gives refined love, intense and refined eroticism, transfiguring thoughts, artistic inspiration, attraction to everything that is beautiful and harmonious, good taste, tenderness. Through the Sagittarius people that participate in a yang-spiral, all other participants can experience by resonance the beneficial subtle influence of Jupiter, which gives profound states of mental understanding, refinement of thinking, expansiveness, enthusiasm, tendency toward the practical study of religion, success in everything, the intuition of the final aim of the human existence. Through the Capricorn people that participate in a yang-spiral, all other participants can experience by resonance the beneficial subtle influence of Saturn, which gives responsibility, seriousness, love for philosophy, prudence, honesty, power of adaptation to all kinds of difficult situations. Through the Aquarius people that participate in a yang-spiral, all other participants can experience by resonance the beneficial subtle influence of Uranus, which gives spirit of adventure, creative power, search for meaning, focused attention, will power, self-control. Through the Pisces people that participate in a yang-spiral, all other participants can experience by resonance the beneficial subtle influence of Neptune, which gives deep spiritual intuition, expansion of consciousness, direct experimentation of the beatific void, divine love without object, the transcendence of the inferior structure of personality, mystic revelations, the perceiving of the grace of God, ability to project into parallel worlds.
If we were to make a synthesis, we can say that during the yang-spiral, the resonance with the subtle energies of Venus gradually develops a state of generosity; the resonance with the subtle energies of Jupiter gradually develops a state of patience; the resonance with the subtle energies of Saturn gradually develops discipline; the resonance with the subtle energies of Mars gradually develops the power to take just action; the resonance with the subtle energies of the Moon gradually develops the power to meditate; the resonance with the subtle energies of the Sun gradually develops the state of wisdom; the resonance with the subtle energies of Mercury gradually develops the power to justly use the right means to accomplish what we want; the resonance with the subtle energies of Uranus gradually develops a state of harmony that will help in reaching the spiritual goal; the resonance with the subtle energies of Pluto gradually develops paranormal powers; the resonance with the subtle energies of Neptune gradually makes possible the highest spiritual awakening that ensures the conscious re-integration into the Cosmic Consciousness.
Human beings whose bodies, emotions and minds are purified and balanced enough, and who succeed to focus and actively involve themselves in the yang-spiral meditations in which there are a large number of participants (3000 – 4000 people or more) can easily enter states of samadhi (cosmic ecstasy).
For understanding through direct experience what happens during a yang-spiral meditation, you have to participate in at least three yang-spirals that are organized and done under direct supervision of competent teachers.
For having a meaningful experience in a yang-spiral meditation, you have to be very well rested and to have enough vitality. It does not matter if you suffer from an illness – in fact, this can be partially or completely cured after a few yang-spiral meditations. You do not have to be a yoga practitioner to benefit from a yang-spiral meditation.
A specific aspect generally felt by people who participate for the first time to the yang-spiral meditations is that they might feel very clearly the areas of the body that are imbalanced, the subtle energy centers that are blocked and the aspects of the being that need improvement. Even though this might manifest as a slightly unpleasant sensation in the respective areas, in the subsequent meditations these effects will gradually diminish and disappear completely as a result of the balancing and healing effects of the huge beneficial energies that manifest during the spiral.
Some clarifications about the Brahmarandra Spiral
In this meditation the exceptionally beneficial effects of the yang spiral are doubled by the Brahmarandra meditation. This meditation is also called “Induction of the state of Liberation through divine miracle”. Through this initiate procedure the participants will feel the opening of Brahmarandra, the “spiritual gate” situated above the top of the head. Brahmarandra is also called the gate of God, the place in the body where God is entering into the being. The action itself is carried by the intention of the participants and by the Divine Grace. No other techniques are necessary and involved in this exceptional experience. During the Brahmarandra Spiral meditations the participants might feel a wonderful state of union with the Absolute, entering into the Heavenly Kingdom and thus experiencing the state of Liberation.
People with serious mental disturbances (schizophrenia, paranoia, etc.) are not allowed under any circumstances to participate in these meditations!!!
''Love, or better said our perception about love, changes from era to era and from culture to culture. And yet, the quest remains: the quest for extazy, the quest for fulfillment, the quest for the absolute.'' - Gregorian Bivolaru
